Classes conduced in the form of lectures, exercises, laboratories and workshops take place in new teaching facilities equipped with the latest laboratory and IT equipment, and specialist teaching aids. The classes are conducted by incredibly experienced scientific and teaching staff, including technical security practitioners, as well as military and fire service officers - participants in military and rescue operations, and crisis-military exercises, as well as representatives of economic entities from the technical security sector.

 

SECURITY ENGINEERING 1ST-CYCLE PROGRAMME

 

This practical 1st-cycle programme in “Security Engineering” is offered at the Faculty of Security Studies, and includes the following specialisations:

  • Technical Security Engineering
  • Security in Logistics and Transport Systems

The programme lasts 3.5 years (7 semesters) and prepares students for the second-cycle (Master’s) programme.

After passing a diploma exam, the student obtains the professional title of engineer.

 

SECURITY ENGINEERING 2ND-CYCLE PROGRAMME

 

Level of education: second-cycle studies

Form of study: full-time, part-time

Educational profile: practical

Duration: 3 semesters

Total hours:

  • full-time: 1150,
  • part-time: 675.

A graduate of the second-cycle vocational programme obtains the professional title of the Master of Safety Engineering, with a specialisation in:

  • Technical Security Systems and Technical Rescue
