Monday 25 June 2018 brought the launch of another edition of the International Military Leadership Course (IMLC 2018) organised by the Department of Management in cooperation with the Command Institute.

During the course, officer cadets as well as other cadets from Europe and the USA took part in classes held at the Military University of Land Forces and the “Wysoki Kamień” Training Centre in Szklarska Poręba.

In the first part of the course, students concentrated on theoretical issues related to leadership and took part a practical workshop held by Maj. Gen. Efthymios Charokopos from Greece, as well as lectures by Steven E. Horsley, director of the Frontline Leadership Programme from the University of Charleston (USA), delivered using the WEBEX platform.

As part of the workshop, the participants carried out tasks aimed at perfecting their leadership skills based on subjects such as Critical Thinking, Media Awareness, and Troop Leading Procedures using the VBS3 simulation system.

On the nearest weekend, all participants of the course were transferred to the “Wysoki Kamień” Training Centre in Szklarska Poręba, where they took part in the practical part of the course.
