MILITARY UNIVERSITY OF LAND FORCES

The International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce has been a showcase of the Polish industry and a way of promoting local companies for more than 25 years. It is also where new developments in the defence sector from around the world are presented.

This year’s exhibition, which took place on 4-7 September 2018 in Kielce, saw the active participation of AWL's representatives, who presented, among other things, a VBS tactical simulator, a comprehensive simulator for the T-72 Beskid 2M/K tank crew, the LSS Laser Engagement System, and the “Syntia” VR simulator, the 6DOF/ nD learning device and the DIY Inspire 1 drone. AWL also presented an innovation concerning a light, stable, quiet and invisible-to-radar aerial vehicle which facilitates tactical advantage on the battlefield and can be an effective tool supporting public services in crisis management activities.

Our stand was visited by Tomasz Zdzikot, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, Tomasz Szatkowski, Undersecretary of State, and the Rector Commandants of AWL, the Military University of Technology and the Polish Air Force Academy, as well as representatives of the Science and Military Education Department.

The International Defence Industry Exhibition is the largest and most important event of this kind in Central Europe. It is a one and only opportunity in Poland to see all the armaments and equipment at the disposal of modern soldiers.

MSPO is also a forum for networking between customers and suppliers. It is a place where cutting-edge technologies and products in the field of weaponry and military equipment are present, a place where you learn about the needs and expectations of recipients, and also for representatives from all over the world to meet and talk, as well as to establish new contacts and maintain the existing connections. Participating in such initiatives makes it possible to obtain in-depth and synthetic information about innovative products and services. Keeping up to date with new technologies is a must in a rapidly changing environment.

The event was organised under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda in the year marking the 100th anniversary of Poland’s independence.
